KUNDALINI ENERGY

After Lillian’s grief, she experiences a spike of ecstasy. Energy moved through her body. She rode the current, spiraling her torso much like the coils of a swirling snake at the base of her tailbone. This mirrors the twisting double-helix structure of DNA featured earlier. In Tantra, this is known as kundalini energy. This is followed by a series of nature footage rich in feminine imagery — a vast ocean, a waterfall descending into a yoni-shaped pool, hurricane clouds with a spiral shape.
